Drop Ten — Privacy Policy
- Drop Ten has no accounts, no sign-in and no chat. We never ask for your name, email or contacts.
- Your scores, progress and settings are stored only on your device.
- The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob collects some device data to show and measure ads, as described below.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first, and you can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
1. Who we are
Drop Ten ("the app") is a puzzle game for Android published by Codrixo Technologies ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is handled when you use the app, and your choices.
2. Information stored on your device
The app saves the following locally on your phone, using Android's app storage. It is never sent to us, and we have no server that receives it:
- best score, biggest tile, combo and merge records, games played;
- level, XP, daily missions, streaks and achievements;
- sound and haptics settings;
- ad timing counters (for example, when the last full-screen ad was shown), so ads are not shown too often.
This data is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings. You can also reset your best score in Settings.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is supported by ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. The app shows banner ads, full-screen (interstitial) ads — for example after a level-up or after some games — an app-open ad at start-up, and optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch for an in-game bonus (revive, undo, or a doubled XP bonus).
To deliver ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the app automatically collects and shares with Google:
| Data | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Device or other identifiers | Android advertising ID, app set ID | Advertising, measurement, fraud prevention |
| Approximate location | Derived from IP address | Advertising, fraud prevention |
| App interactions | Ad views, taps, app launches | Advertising, analytics |
| Diagnostics | Device model, OS version, crash and performance data of the ads SDK | Analytics, fraud prevention |
This data is encrypted in transit. Google's use of it is governed by Google's own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
4. Your consent and ad choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: on first launch the app shows Google's consent message (Google User Messaging Platform). You can accept or refuse personalised ads. You can change your decision at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. If you refuse, you may still see non-personalised ads.
- US states with privacy laws: where required, Google's regulatory messaging lets you opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for ads.
- Everyone: you can reset your advertising ID or delete it in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (wording varies by device). With no advertising ID, ads are not personalised.
5. Permissions the app uses
- Internet / network state — to load ads.
- Advertising ID (
AD_ID) — used by AdMob as described above. - Vibrate — for haptic feedback, which you can switch off in Settings.
The app does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or precise location.
6. Children
Drop Ten is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has used the app and data was collected through its ads, contact us and we will help.
7. Data retention and deletion
We do not hold any of your data on our own servers, so there is nothing for us to delete. Data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. Data collected by Google through AdMob is retained according to Google's policies; you can manage it at My Ad Center and by resetting your advertising ID.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Because we do not receive personal data ourselves, most requests are best directed to Google, but you are welcome to contact us and we will help.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
